5.0 out of 5 stars fun family book My family is reading one section of this book daily. We are learning all kinds of interesting, thought provoking ideas about diverse topics. I buy so many books and read so few. This is a good read!
5.0 out of 5 stars Well organized book Fun and interesting book. I like how the chapters breakdown. You can but don’t necessarily need to read this book continuously. You choose a chapter to coordinate with your local walk. I bought the book as a gift for a couple who has two children. Just think how smart the parents will be as they use the information in this book to inform their local walks!
Joan rated it. It was amazing. Recommended by lord knows who, this book has become my “go to” book for the ODD people on my Christmas list. My first non-fiction book to actually mention the pandemic, this book is timely and so interesting for everyone.
Spike decided to write a book about everything you might see as you walk around your neighborhood. Traffic lights, squirrels, pigeons, manholes etc. He went to the experts to learn and teach. I read it and became an interesting factoid of trivia for my poor husband who is the my only set of ears during this pandemic. I read one non-fiction book this year and if you are of the same bent, this is the go to one for you!!
