I write about American parks in "A Walk Around the Block" ... and we do a superb job (in most cities) creating spaces everyone can use for recreating, musing and relaxing. So does Paris ... and they often have fun with their parks. They're not all as grand as the Tuileries gardens in Paris, but ewhat they lack in size, they often make up for in creativity ...

So let's think quality (versus quantity) and fun (versus absolute safety) when it comes to future parks.
